Deputy General Counsel, Commercial

As a Deputy General Counsel, you will enable growth by designing commercial strategies to help Maven close deals faster and bring new products to market. You will lead a high-impact team, managing legal professionals engaged in Maven’s commercial legal work. You will oversee all aspects of contracting and build scalable systems & cross-functional alignment. You will act as a strategic legal partner, anticipating commercial and contractual risks early. You will also drive operational excellence and partner across legal teams. The ideal candidate will have 12+ years of legal experience, with at least 5+ years in-house and a strong focus on commercial transactions. Expertise in negotiating and managing a range of agreements in healthcare is crucial. Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and build trusted relationships with executives is needed.
