VistA MUMPS Developer (Remote Opportunity)

Overview:

• This role supports a VA initiative to reduce SSN use in VistA applications.
• The developer will work remotely on a multidisciplinary Agile team.
• Responsibilities span development, testing, and collaboration with stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Modify VistA/MUMPS code to eliminate SSNs in user interfaces, reports, and audit trails.
• Analyze existing dependencies and implement secure, maintainable modifications.
• Develop unit tests and support all phases of testing and deployment.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree plus 5+ years of VistA/MUMPS experience.
• Strong skills in MUMPS/M, Caché, or GT.M.
• Experience with VistA packages like ADT, PCE, AICS, and Agile practices.
