Job Description
We’re looking for a Platform Engineer who thrives on making systems scale—horizontally, reliably, and securely. In this role, you’ll be responsible for designing and tuning the infrastructure that powers our AI engine and distributed analysis systems. You’ll work deeply with AWS, OpenSearch, and our core backend stack (TypeScript and Kotlin), and help lay the technical foundation for how XBOW scales as we grow.
You will design and implement infrastructure that supports horizontally scalable systems and services. Tune and optimize AWS services across compute, storage, networking, and observability. You will own the performance, reliability, and maintainability of core services—especially our OpenSearch-based systems and design for resilience by implementing disaster recovery and business continuity strategies that ensure uptime, even when things break.
You will improve how we build, deploy, and monitor services at scale. Drive a pragmatic and scalable observability strategy—building the right dashboards, alerts, and traces to help the team move fast and debug confidently. You will also partner closely with engineers, AI researchers and Security researchers to enable high-quality, high-velocity product development.
