OpenSearch Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Own and operate AWS OpenSearch Service in production, including index design, shard optimization, and performance tuning.
• Build and maintain reliable PostgreSQL-to-OpenSearch pipelines with retries, idempotency, and reconciliation.
• Monitor cluster health, implement backup and disaster recovery, and participate in incident response.

Qualifications:

• Strong production experience with OpenSearch or Elasticsearch, including AWS OpenSearch Service.
• Experience building data pipelines between PostgreSQL and OpenSearch with large datasets.
• Deep understanding of index design, mappings, analyzers, Query DSL, and cluster performance.
