Senior Software Engineer

Position Summary:

• US-based (Seattle preferred), with consideration for highly qualified remote candidates.
• Seattle-based employees follow a hybrid schedule, working from the pet-friendly office at least three days per week.
• You'll join a server-side team supporting integration of technologies across the Trupanion ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work in agile teams to define, estimate, and complete tasks, developing and maintaining software, databases, and applications.
• Write RESTful APIs, troubleshoot complex code bases, and modernize legacy systems.
• Test software, author unit tests, and support on-call rotations for production issues.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in software development with 3-5 years in C#/.NET/Azure/ADO tech stack.
• Extensive experience in .NET, ASP.NET, MVC, and Core, with knowledge of Vue/JS, NServiceBus, and Azure Functions.
• Strong communication and time management skills, with the ability to work under pressure and prioritize effectively.
