Role Overview:
- You will be the primary owner of the user experience for a major healthcare scheduling platform rebuild, serving hundreds of thousands of users.
- The position starts with deep research and audit phases before any frontend development begins, ensuring designs are user-informed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct internal platform audits and customer research to map workflows and identify critical pain points like template management.
- Provide API design input to ensure the backend structure supports intuitive user experiences.
- Design the complete UX for both worker-facing and admin-facing applications, with a focus on improving platform NPS.
Design Execution:
- Build and maintain a comprehensive design system and component library targeting WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility standards.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs, validating them through usability testing with real users.
- Present research and design decisions in weekly reviews with engineering leadership and client product teams.
Team & Impact:
- Work in a small, autonomous team with high ownership from the research phase through to the rollout of two major application batches.
