Core Responsibilities:
- Support the daily operations of a global data annotation contributor community across Slack, email, and other channels to keep them informed and engaged.
- Assist with responding to contributor questions, surfacing recurring issues, and routing feedback to appropriate internal teams for resolution.
Onboarding & Activation:
- Build and maintain standardized onboarding workflows to ensure annotators have required tool access and clear expectations before starting work.
- Partner with stakeholders to document and operationalize onboarding templates, guides, and checklists for consistent setup.
- Identify activation gaps and assist with follow-up efforts to re-engage contributors who expressed interest but never started.
Engagement & Retention:
- Support initiatives to retain high-quality and high-potential contributors by identifying performance signals and informing them of future opportunities.
- Assist in designing re-engagement strategies for contributors whose projects have ended or who have become inactive but remain eligible.
- Help explore contributor progression pathways, such as reviewer or advanced roles, as part of longer-term retention strategies.
Offboarding & Process Improvement:
- Assist in creating thoughtful offboarding experiences that maintain goodwill and operationalize communications in alignment with HR and Legal requirements.
- Support the transition of contributors into re-engagement or alumni-style pathways where appropriate for future opportunities.
- Collect and synthesize contributor feedback to help inform future improvements to onboarding, engagement, and communication processes.
