Role & Impact:
- This is a design-oriented builder role within a founder-led startup team, blurring lines between engineering, design, and product.
- You will transform sketches and voice memos into tangible, working versions by the end of the day, with many prototypes being discarded as part of the learning process.
- You are a core part of the creative conversation, pushing back on direction and holding strong opinions to help shape the product from its earliest stages.
Work Style & Expectations:
- The role demands a self-starter with founder-level energy, comfortable operating without traditional specs and shipping something daily to maintain momentum.
- You must be comfortable showing unfinished work for critique and thrive in a zero-to-one, fast-paced environment where progress is measured in daily shipments.
- Deep experience building consumer mobile or web products is required, along with taste in design and the ability to articulate what makes a user experience effective.
Technical & AI Proficiency:
- You need deep expertise in at least one of React, Swift, or Kotlin, with comfort shipping in another, treating the platform as your own responsibility.
- Being AI-native is critical, requiring hands-on experience with tools like Claude Code or Cursor, plus deep knowledge of agentic workflows and prompt engineering.
- Bonus points for experience with map-based or location-driven product work, understanding the unique design challenges of spatial UI.
