Senior Accountant

Purpose:

• Responsible for accounting and cash management functions.
• Assists management with analyzing trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations incurred to predict future revenues and expenses.
• Assembles highly confidential and sensitive information.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conduct review of financial statements and supporting documentation as part of monthly close process.
• Prepare reports and schedules, prepare journal entries, analyze and prepare summaries of accounts, and verify reports for accuracy.
• Provide training to internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Business, or related field or equivalent amount of school and work experience with advanced degree or certification preferred.
• Five or more years of progressive accounting experience providing accounting, reporting, and compliance functions.
• Advanced knowledge in and experience with Microsoft Office tools including Outlook and Excel.
