Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Bid and Proposal Manager to lead complex, high-value bids, enhance competitiveness, and shape bid strategies. This role requires proven expertise in bid management, strong commercial acumen, and the ability to manage complex projects while influencing stakeholders across multiple teams. Responsibilities include designing and executing long-term bid strategies, managing multiple complex bids from opportunity assessment to submission, and utilizing industry insights to inform decisions and improve win rates. The role also involves monitoring the bid pipeline, overseeing resource allocation, and providing strategic guidance on bid/no-bid decisions.
Collaboration across technical, commercial, and legal teams is crucial to develop bids that effectively communicate value. The Bid and Proposal Manager will implement innovative strategies, manage stakeholder relationships, and refine content within the bid management tool. Additionally, they will research and implement tools to enhance RFP pipeline development and drive change management initiatives related to bid processes.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years of experience leading and winning complex bids within the B2B Financial Services sector, strong proposal writing skills, and experience in global sales environments. Proficiency in bid management tools like Loopio and Responsive, excellent stakeholder management, and strategic thinking are also required.
