Legal Counsel (m/f/d) – IT Contract Law & Compliance

Key Responsibilities:

• Business Contracting: Take charge of drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, especially IT contracts, ensuring legal soundness.
• Legal Advice: Offer targeted internal legal advice to colleagues in the business and decision-makers, contributing to well-informed choices.
• Contract Lifecycle: Oversee the entire lifecycle of contracts, maintaining and optimizing contract processes for efficiency.

Compliance:

• Regulatory Monitoring: Monitor current and future regulatory requirements in the IT sector, staying ahead of changes in AI Regulation, Data Act, and more.
• Compliance Measures: Develop and implement compliance measures to ensure the organization aligns with legal standards.
• Awareness and Training: Educate internal teams on relevant legal requirements, fostering a culture of compliance across the organization.

Qualifications:

• Legal Expertise: Possess in-depth knowledge of contract and IT law, along with a strong understanding of data protection law.
• Regulatory Acumen: Exhibit familiarity with regulatory requirements in the IT field, including data protection, cyber security, and AI regulation.
• Communication Skills: Demonstrate the ability to communicate and negotiate effectively in both German and English, essential for collaboration.
