As an AI / Orchestration Engineer, you build the brain of those systems: the orchestration layer that holds state and decides the next best action.
You work inside a Monks delivery team, alongside clients, product, and domain experts.

Who You Are:

A self-starter in the grey areas who sees an undefined problem and designs a path.
Comfortable with non-determinism and reasoning about failure modes, evals, and guardrails.
Product-minded and a clear communicator who can explain agent pipelines to both technical and non-technical audiences.

What You'll Do:

Design and build the agent orchestration layer including workflow state and event-driven execution.
Integrate LLMs behind a provider-agnostic layer with structured outputs and tool-calling.
Build human-in-the-loop approval flows and set up evaluation loops for agent behavior.

What You Bring:

Hands-on experience building LLM-powered or agentic applications with tool-calling and structured output.
5+ years shipping production software, with depth in AI systems.
Comfort with orchestration frameworks like LangGraph.js and experience with AWS.
