Responsibilities:

  • Design and build the safety-critical core of the Walrus distributed storage network.
  • Contribute to core protocol design and ensure secure, efficient network operations.
  • Collaborate with other teams to integrate new features and technologies.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in systems/network programming, ideally in Rust, C, or C++.
  • Experience in distributed systems, storage systems, high-performance systems, or networking protocols.
  • Proven production experience operating systems with a focus on reliability and monitoring.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.

Preferences:

  • Experience with Rust programming language.
  • Previous work on blockchain technology or cryptographic protocols.
  • Significant contributions to open-source projects.
  • Research experience in relevant computer science topics.
