Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

Polycam is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior QA Engineer to join the team and spearhead quality assurance efforts for frontend devices (Web, iOS/Android) and backend services. In this role, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and performance of the hardware, software, and overall capture process through both manual and automated testing. You will own and support the QA lifecycle for Polycam’s product suite. Design and implement comprehensive testing strategies and frameworks, with a specific focus on 3D image capture workflows. Develop test plans that assess image quality and fidelity, 3D reconstruction accuracy, software functionality, and system stability and robustness. Collaborate with engineering and product teams to define quality standards, uncover risks, and align on requirements. Contribute to automated testing frameworks using tools such as BrowserStack and languages like JavaScript/TypeScript. Execute detailed test cases and scripts that cover full product workflows. Identify, document, and track bugs and issues using tools like JIRA, and provide clear reports to support efficient resolution. Analyze test results and quality metrics, and share insights that drive continuous improvements.
