Enterprise Storage & Backup Administrator

Responsibilities:

• Run and optimize enterprise storage and backup platforms across distributed, heterogeneous environments.
• Provision storage, manage integrations, configure backup policies for scheduling and recovery, and monitor system health and performance.
• Troubleshoot across the full stack including storage, SAN, backup, and network, driving incidents to resolution.

Technical Expertise:

• Deep hands-on experience with multi-vendor storage arrays such as HP 3PAR, Dell Compellent, and NetApp.
• Strong expertise in enterprise backup ecosystems including Avamar, Data Domain, NetBackup, and Veeam.
• Solid understanding of SAN technologies like Fibre Channel, VSAN, WWPN, and iSCSI, with experience troubleshooting fabrics.

Professional Environment:

• Operate in distributed, high-availability environments within a structured service framework, potentially following ITIL.
• Demonstrate a scripting and automation mindset using tools like Python or Ansible to improve operations.
• Exhibit strong debugging instincts, clear communication, and the ability to work across teams and time zones.
