Job Description
The Sr. WAN Administrator will oversee WAN network implementation, organization, and troubleshooting. They will oversee work of technical support staff in managing network hubs, routers, switches and servers and monitor underlying communications protocols and supporting network hardware. Monitor and identify potential chronic issues and coordinate projects with LAN Team when needed.
This role involves design, implementation, maintenance and troubleshooting of store/DC WAN, evaluating new technologies, providing lab environments, and using best practices to ensure network security and maintain PCI compliance. The role is responsible for firewall management, daily scans, quarterly reviews, and monitors utilization to perform upgrades.
