Join Zscaler as a Staff Network Engineer on our remote team to deploy, operate, monitor, and support the Zscaler worldwide production network inside multiple data centers. Participate in on-call rotation in weekends and holidays, and contribute to our mission to make doing business seamless and secure within Zscaler.

Design and deploy functional networks tailored to Quest Software's needs, configure network devices, monitor network performance, and implement security measures. The role involves maintaining documentation, collaborating with IT teams, proposing improvements, and responding to network issues to minimize downtime.

Ensure smooth and stable operation of data center infrastructure, points of presence, and our own backbone network, also design and develop data center networks with thousands of server ports, InfiniBand-based GPU cluster interconnect networks, and automation and management tools for such networks.

As a Senior Technical Consultant, you will utilize your extensive knowledge and experience to design, develop and deploy solutions utilizing network technologies. You will work with a collaborative team leading, mentoring, and ensuring development efforts are well documented and delivered with quality. The Senior Technical Consultant is a highly experienced subject matter expert on network technologies.

Ensure the smooth operation of data center infrastructure, points of presence, and our own backbone network. The engineer will design and develop data center networks with thousands of server ports, InfiniBand-based GPU cluster interconnect networks, and automation and management tools for such networks.

Possess a strong understanding of routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, and IPsec for secure and efficient network communications. Demonstrate expert-level knowledge of networking technologies, WAN communications, and security concepts, including TCP/IP, QoS, MPLS, and IPSec. Participate in the deployment of complex solutions and conduct client workshops.

Deploy, operate, monitor, and support the Zscaler worldwide production network inside multiple data centers. Participate in on-call rotation in weekends and holidays. Requires 5-8 years of experience with high-speed fiber Ethernet networks and expert level hands-on experience in BGP routing.

You will assist with various network projects for an established client including network refresh, new technology deployments, and Wifi design/troubleshooting. The candidate must be innovative and agile, collaborate well in a team environment, and have very strong written and verbal communication skills.
