Staff Research Scientist

Role Overview:

• You will work on research questions most AI labs don't have access to, using real enterprise agent behavior.
• Contribute to initiatives on tacit knowledge, continuous learning, resilience, safety, and data privacy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and execute a research agenda, choosing problems before the community turns to them.
• Provide scientific leadership to cross-disciplinary teams of researchers and engineers.
• Publish at top venues and influence product and engineering decisions.

Qualifications:

• PhD/MS in CS, ML, or related field with 2+ years of post-graduation research experience.
• Established publication record at NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, ACL, EMNLP or equivalent.
• Strong software development skills and advanced use of agentic tools.

Additional Information:

• Work persona is flexible or remote based on nature of work and location.
• Fluency in French or interest in learning it is a plus for a bilingual Montreal environment.
