Cloud Engineering & Operations Lead

This position will be working 100% remote and will focus on cloud operations and engineering. A candidate in this position will work as part of an enterprise cloud services team and will lead the engineering and operations team and oversee the deployment of a scalable, secure, and resilient cloud environment. The candidate responsibilities will include managing of the team task priorities, providing technical guidance and solutions for provisioning of services and permissions, operational monitoring, and incident response. The candidate responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Leadership Role Lead the cloud engineering and operations team for deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of cloud environments (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP) Understand the scope and manage the prioritization of ServiceNow requests, changes, and Jira tasks for provisioning, modifying, troubleshooting, and decommissioning cloud services Advise and enhance cloud team process improvements using cloud best practices and team standards Technical Role Provide technical guidance and direction to cloud team on provisioning new resources and resolution of infrastructure issues Provide system monitoring and incident management for cloud environments Manage operations in cloud environments and ensure the high availability and performance of those environments Evaluate and operationalize cloud services, tools, and technologies
