Energy Market Risk Manager

The Market Risk team is hiring a Risk Manager to directly contribute to the risk management processes and tools of the team. You will be primarily responsible for understanding, quantifying, and explaining market risks of Intersect’s ERCOT/CAISO physical, financial positions and their interactions. In this role you will focus on building and improving risk analytics, reporting leveraging Python and Google Cloud Platforms primarily. Lead Market Risk Analysis including the technical analysis of physical and financial positions in ERCOT and CAISO markets. Quantify and communicate market risk exposures to leadership and internal stakeholders. Build and Maintain Risk Tools to design, develop, and optimize advanced risk analytics using Python, SQL and Google Cloud Platform. Create scalable risk management applications. Support Reporting and Compliance, ensuring adherence to Intersect’s risk policies through careful monitoring and documentation.
