Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with software and systems engineers to maintain the foundational platform for Reddit's infrastructure.
- Design, write, and deliver software to improve the availability, scalability, and efficiency of Reddit’s products.
- Automate critical aspects of the development process and infrastructure operations.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience developing internet-scale software, preferably in infrastructure roles.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure systems like Kubernetes and AWS/GCE ecosystems is a plus.
- Strong user focus, usability, scalability, and quality focus.
Nice to have:
- Experience influencing technical direction in larger organizations.
- Experience with cross-functional teams to deliver user experiences.
- Software development experience in languages like Python, Go, Rust, Java, or C++.
