Position Summary:

  • The Security Engineer serves as the technical bridge between security policy and development operations, ensuring security principles are effectively implemented.
  • Embedded within development teams, this role writes code, configures systems, and operationalizes security controls across applications, databases, and AI systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Bridge security policy and technical execution by translating requirements into deployable solutions for applications, data, and AI systems.
  • Design, build, and deploy security controls to ensure confidentiality, integrity, and availability across web apps, APIs, and AI platforms.
  • Implement secure-by-design practices, including automation scripts and infrastructure-as-code to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field; 3+ years in application security, DevSecOps, or security engineering.
  • Deep proficiency with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP) and experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation) and container security (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell) and hands-on experience with security scanning tools (SAST, DAST, SCA).
