Senior Batch Automation Engineer

About the Role:

• This senior-level automation professional designs, configures, tests, commissions, and supports batch control solutions for manufacturing clients.
• The role requires strong process controls experience and practical knowledge of ISA-88 batch concepts.
• Project work involves multiple industries using batch management platforms, DCS/PLC, and integration technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop functional specifications, configure batch recipes and phases, and support software testing.
• Lead or support development of project scopes, cost estimates, and schedules for batch automation projects.
• Troubleshoot batch execution issues, control logic defects, and integration problems across systems.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical, Chemical, Mechanical, Computer, or Controls Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• Minimum six years of controls and automation experience, with senior-level batch automation experience required.
• Hands-on experience with batch control concepts, ISA-88, and platforms like Rockwell FactoryTalk Batch or Siemens SIMATIC BATCH.
