What you'll do:

• Co-author a daily Axios newsletter full of insights and scoops that matter most to Houston residents.
• Cover many aspects of life in the city, from local news to events and folkways.
• Experiment with and leverage AI for reporting and newsletter production.

What you should have:

• Experience covering Houston and excellent sources.
• Ability to break news and create conceptual scoops.
• Comfort flexing voice and personality in writing, operating with a startup mentality.
