Role and Impact:
- Lead a team of software engineers building scalable services, APIs, and SDKs for our digital merchandising platform.
- Work cross-functionally with technical leads to establish prioritization frameworks and ensure delivery stays aligned with roadmap goals.
- Drive architecture and design decisions for the ads platform, setting technical direction and building consensus across the team.
Collaboration and Growth:
- Partner with Product Managers to make advertising product offerings sound, robust, and easy to use.
- Work with Data Scientists and Machine Learning Engineers to collect and analyze data to improve advertising through iterations.
- Manage and grow a team of 3-4 engineers through regular 1:1s, goal-setting, and performance feedback.
Qualifications and Expectations:
- 6+ years of professional software engineering experience in a product-centered team, with 2+ years in a lead or people-management role.
- Hands-on experience with AdTech systems: ad serving, campaign pacing, budgeting, and attribution.
- Strong CS fundamentals and proficiency in at least one system language (Go preferred), database fluency, and experience with cloud ops (Terraform preferred).
