What you'll be responsible for:

  • Acts as the clinical coding subject matter expert.
  • Provides education to providers on clinical coding standards.
  • Coordinates and leads the Alliance Coding Workgroup.

What you'll need to be successful - Knowledge of:

  • Medical coding languages and guidelines.
  • Training content development for providers and staff.
  • CMS Hierarchical Condition Categories (HCC).

Education and Experience:

  • CCS and CRC certifications.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Health Care, Business, Nursing, or related field.
  • Minimum of eight years of experience including three years of clinical and eight years of risk adjustment coding experience.
