The Medical Director provides clinical leadership for the Disability Evaluation Services (DES) Program and is responsible for supervising the physician advisors and quality assurance consultants as well as ensuring compliance for contracted network consultative examination providers. The director leads internal Clinical Consultation Committee for the handling and decision making of contested cases.

Responsible for training and educating sales and clinical specialist teams in the field of cardiac ablation. Plays an integral role educating a key group of the organization, as the OU enters multiple new market segments and expands its portfolio with advanced technologies. Influences the design of new indication and product launch education plans based on business strategy.

Oversees auditing, education, and training for Physicians, APPs, and the Professional Fee Coding Team. Integrates training and development strategies and programs for Physicians, APPs, and Medical Coders employed by the Region. Develops and implements strategic needs analyses and training plans for the Region.

As Medical Director, reporting to the Chief Medical Officer, you will shape the work Solace’s physicians perform and consider how to scale a rapidly growing business while maintaining the highest standards of quality and ensuring Solace’s patients receive comprehensive, life-improving services.

This role supports the clinical quality team in scaling goals by contributing to onboarding new providers, training and Quality Improvement tasks, and streamlining onboarding for new providers by supporting with practice session preparation, holding office hours, preparing training materials, and providing peer mentorship and support to tenured and part-time providers.
