Sr Category Manager - Direct Materials Paper

This position is 100% remote. The Paper Sr. Category Manager (CM) is responsible for leading RRD’s strategic focus for paper and related materials. RRD’s production platform uses all types of paper for printed communications (UFS, CFS, CGW, UGW, SC, and other specialties). The CM needs to understand all aspects of these direct materials and will be relied upon to strategically manage the category. This role reports to the Director of Paper Services on the Direct Materials Procurement team and will be responsible for category strategy activities supporting our printing plants. This role will work closely with business stakeholders to understand business priorities and develop/execute category strategies to reduce total cost of ownership and ensure supply continuity. This will be achieved through an understanding of industry benchmarking, best in class performance, and by leveraging supplier innovation, supplier management, complex deal negotiation skills, sourcing tools and processes.
