Under direct supervision, develops, implements, and maintains various database applications. Communicates with relevant stakeholders to ensure data is accurate and in compliance with regulatory standards. Provides support for special projects and assignments. Researches, analyzes, and summarizes information and source materials for reports.
This position assists the Clinical Data section of the Health Information Management (HIM) Department to ensure timely and accurate completion of coding and medical record documentation in order to meet the organization’s unbilled and regulatory compliance goals; ensures the data integrity of the electronic medical record and indices; assists with ensuring effective and efficient HIM workflows relative to the maintenance and accuracy of health information.
