As the leader of the analytics engineering team, you’re going to build and lead the team, develop deep product expertise, leverage AI and LLMs, unlock the value of our data, and directly deliver business impact. Prioritize outcomes over tools and bridge the gap between business and data to drive real value in decision-making.

Create and maintain ELT/ETL processes for existing and new systems. Collaborate with development and business teams to understand requirements and define source system data flows. Develop and maintain ETL/ETL specifications for data integration development. Define and deliver consistent data modeling and data architecture standards, methodologies, guidelines and techniques. Document, implement and maintain the data pipeline architecture and related business processes.

You will be responsible for leading a team of Data Engineers that architects and maintains dv01’s core data pipeline infrastructure, working with individual contributors and cross-functional peers to plan and execute on maintenance and improvements to the existing data platform, as well as developing architectures to support new business opportunities.

The Director of Data Engineering is responsible for leading the Data Engineering team to build trusted Data Ingestion Pipelines that seamlessly move and transform data from SaaS and in-house transactional databases to a Data Warehouse, enabling actionable business insights. This role requires a strong technical leader with effective communication and leadership skills to manage a data engineering team.

You will be the trusted advisor to business and technology leaders, a lead and authority figure to employees, providing guidance and expertise focused on piping impactful insights to the right people at the right time, supporting data driven decision makers, analytics, and data science initiatives. This is a full-time remote position for candidates residing in specific states.
