You’ll be at the center of scaling Underdog’s real-time data platform, powering everything from pricing pipelines to ML-driven features. This high-impact role bridges infrastructure, data engineering, and machine learning teams to define and deliver the next generation of Underdog’s platform.
As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer you will architect and run globally distributed platform services that hundreds of engineers rely on every day, and continuously evolve our compute, edge, observability and deployment layers for maximum resilience, performance, and cost-efficiency at a global scale. You will also lead with automation, Infrastructure as Code, and SLO-driven operations to deliver reliability through software, not toil.
We are looking for someone to help us scale and to keep our software and infrastructure reliable and elastic as we scale. Someone who knows how to make hardware and software play together, and that participate as part of the oncall team, to understand not only our product, but also the issues our clients face. You’ll be working closely with the product and backend teams to design the system architecture, optimize usage of resources, and make our platform more elastic.
