Supports the Director in overseeing the research, strategic development, and execution of new program initiatives, crucial for advancing the organization's strategic vision by developing and implementing innovative educational programs. The main responsibilities include leading research and analysis, collaborating on program design, developing and managing projects, overseeing communication materials, and coordinating with internal partners.
The intern will assist in coordinating events conducting research on public policy and emerging technology. Brookings scholars affiliated with the Initiative work on a wide-range of tech policy issues and projects, from automation the future of work, disinformation campaigns, the geopolitics of tech, and more. Interns will be responsible for a range of event management, research and publication tasks in support of ongoing projects.
This internship position supports a range of activities relating to the GEF-8 Heart of Conservation Initiative (HCI), including workflows across the project, managing expressions of interest to become partners, and undertaking research. Responsibilities include research (30%) and managing documents, event planning, logistics, and communications (70%).
