The Communication and Engagement Officer will play a key role in shaping how PREreview shows up in the world and is responsible for managing external communications and deepening engagement with our community. You will lead the development and implementation of strategies to connect with our diverse, global audience across channels and help plan, host, and facilitate community-centered initiatives. This role offers a unique opportunity to support and grow a vibrant community dedicated to transforming how research is shared, reviewed, and valued.

You'll be an important part of a dynamic communications team, soliciting stories from customers, drafting press releases, pitching stories to news outlets, supporting press conferences, and building and maintaining relationships with reporters and Flock Safety’s public sector customers across the country. This is a fast-paced, high-energy role that requires a creative, problem-solving mindset and the ability to handle a complex PR process.
