Join the team at Blackbird Interactive as a Technical Animator, helping to modernize animation, rigging, and content workflows for a first-person Unreal 5 project. This role involves developing and maintaining Maya and Unreal-based pipelines and tools to support animation, rigging, and content export workflows. Collaborate with animators, riggers, engineers, and designers to define rig standards and ensure clean integration into the game engine.
This role focuses on building quality systems, culture, and processes across the production lifecycle—not just managing test execution. The QA Lead will collaborate closely with all project stakeholders to define testing strategies, ensure proper coverage throughout development, and uphold quality standards. The ideal candidate combines strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to think both strategically and tactically. Experience managing external QA teams and optimizing workflows is a plus.
Help build, evolve, and optimize player-facing UI systems and in-game menus for Minecraft (Bedrock Engine) across console, PC, and mobile.
