The intern will assist in coordinating events conducting research on public policy and emerging technology. Brookings scholars affiliated with the Initiative work on a wide-range of tech policy issues and projects, from automation the future of work, disinformation campaigns, the geopolitics of tech, and more. Interns will be responsible for a range of event management, research and publication tasks in support of ongoing projects.
This internship provides an opportunity for undergraduate and graduate students interested in economics, data science, applied mathematics, and public policy to apply classroom principles in a professional setting. Interns will develop analytical and econometric skills by assisting with background research, data gathering, data cleaning, and statistical analysis, focusing on topics like migration policy, the future of work, and economic mobility.
