Instacart

Seeking a Principal Product Manager to simplify and compel retailers to bring their in-store customers online. This PM will identify, evaluate, and execute opportunities using various tools, from compelling in-store customer experiences from retailer apps, automating key retailer marketing workflows, and identifying key integrations in a complex retailer technology landscape. Requires strong cross-functional leadership and the ability to represent Instacart externally to retailers.

Our backend systems power the clients used by millions of customers every year to buy their groceries online. These systems must also support tight integration with the largest retailers in the US and Canada. You will work closely with other teams to understand their main pain points and translate them into self-serve and reliable solutions.

Implement robust back-end services and APIs, writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code. Optimize applications for peak performance and scalability. Validate the technical feasibility of system designs and contribute actively to all development lifecycle phases. Focus on operational excellence with strong test coverage, monitoring, intuitive metrics, and alerting.
