Kickstarter

This role plays a critical part in managing both indirect and direct tax functions across the company and its subsidiaries. You’ll ensure compliance processes are accurate, timely, and scalable as Kickstarter grows globally. You’ll collaborate closely with tax advisors, legal, product, and insights teams to evaluate implications of new offerings, support filings, and strengthen tax technology tools.

This role is critical to ensuring accurate, compliant, and scalable revenue accounting processes. Reporting to the VP of Finance, you’ll partner with cross-functional teams—including Product, Legal, and Engineering—to align new products, payment flows, and business models with accounting standards. The ideal candidate combines strong ASC 606 expertise with a passion for automation.
