The Technical Accounting team at Robinhood plays a critical role in interpreting and applying complex accounting standards within a dynamic and rapidly evolving business environment. The Director of Technical Accounting will lead the company’s technical accounting function, ensuring compliance with US GAAP, and providing guidance on complex, high impact accounting matters. This role will also oversee strategic initiatives, including accounting policy development, M&A transactions, and process improvements.

Robinhood is looking for a skilled Senior Payroll Tax Specialist to join our Payroll team to help us process payroll and manage tax fillings in an accurate and timely manner. As a Senior Payroll Tax Specialist on the team, you will contribute to all aspects of payroll for over 2,400+ employees. In this role you will be responsible for analyzing and managing payroll related tax issues.

Accelerate Robinhood’s strategic roadmap by identifying, vetting, and executing mergers, acquisitions, and a variety of other potential transactions. Develop a detailed understanding of Robinhood’s strategic objectives and market landscape, working to identify high-potential acquisition opportunities across existing and future market verticals and geographies. Present acquisition opportunities to company leadership & the board of directors.The ideal candidate is strategic, relationship-oriented, analytical, creative, and results-oriented.

Design and deliver engaging learning experiences focused on functional onboarding and skill development, and emerging needs domestically and in our international markets. You’ll work closely with subject matter experts, business partners, and program managers to bring learning to life in ways that are practical, relevant, and aligned to business impact. Apply instructional design best practices and Robinhood’s learning standards to create scalable, high-impact solutions.

Develop and maintain a highly accurate direct cash flow forecast and implement a Treasury Management System to manage cash positioning, direct cash forecasting, and bank account management. Prepare and monitor the global daily cash position, assist with opening/closing bank accounts, and execute timely cash management transactions. Provide support for interim M&A Treasury Operations activities as needed and ensure adherence to SOX controls while supporting audit requests.
