Job Description
The Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) Engineer will help manage and design AVD solutions supporting 60+ developer groups employing cutting-edge technology stacks. The AVD Engineer will be tasked with implementing, managing, and optimizing AVDs and Virtual Machines (VM), while driving speed & capability enhancements for our warfighters.
Responsibilities include architecting & managing secure, high availability systems, adhering to industry standards and following best practices as well as implementing, managing, & optimizing AVD solutions in CI/CD pipelines. Further responsibilities include designing & implementing approaches to continuously update & secure AVD resources, developing scripts to automate tasks and deployments in a cloud environment and documenting systems and processes.
