Staff Software Engineer, Payments

The Staff Software Engineer, Payments will review and evaluate code quality and design, and mentor junior developers to follow coding standards. They will balance implementation complexity, time to market, and scalability, and standardize code and architecture across the team. The engineer will also solve technical problems by working closely with Development Managers, UX, Product Managers, and offshore teams. Furthermore, the Staff Software Engineer will analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints. This role will predict how the architecture will scale, when it is likely to break, and drive an agenda to improve the architecture on a 2+ year timeframe and decide what architecture patterns and technologies are used to solve business problems.
