Job Description:
- Perform civil engineering reviews including storm water drainage, sanitary sewer systems, road design, and earthwork.
- Support preparation of general arrangement drawings in coordination with other disciplines.
- Prepare preliminary civil designs and associated bill of quantities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering required; Master's degree a plus.
- 10+ years of experience in design techniques and tools.
- Proficiency with civil engineering software such as ArcGIS Pro, Autodesk Civil 3D, HydroCAD, etc.
AI & Automation:
- Lead others in using automation and AI to improve workflows and reduce rework.
- Oversee engineers who program or script to automate engineering tasks.
- Value additional learning in computer science or AI for effective oversight.
