About the Role:
- Support accurate and timely processing of commercial insurance claims.
- Monitor claim status and resolve denials and rejections.
- Verify insurance eligibility and benefits as needed.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of medical billing experience with commercial insurance.
- Experience in behavioral health or outpatient healthcare billing preferred.
- Familiarity with behavioral health CPT codes and common commercial payers.
Compensation & Schedule:
- Part-time position with flexible scheduling.
- Hourly rate between $22 and $26 depending on experience.
- Employment type: 1099 contract or W-2 part-time considered.
