The Curation team is seeking a dynamic Senior Editor. This high-impact team programs Yahoo’s top-notch original journalism, requiring expert breaking news judgment, compelling headline craftsmanship, and strong attention to detail. Communication and organization are critical to success.
Responsibilities include programming the news of the day on Yahoo.com, supporting breaking news coverage across platforms, supporting special projects, executing coverage plans for tentpole events, tracking metrics and analytics, and managing relationships with publishers.
The role works a Thursday-Monday schedule, including Saturdays and Sundays, covering evening into overnight hours Eastern Time. Desirable qualifications include 5+ years of editorial experience, familiarity with web content management systems, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in Google Enterprise tools.
