Renewable Senior Performance Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead solar resource and energy production assessments, including uncertainty analysis and technical report writing.
• Review project contracts, execution plans, and financial models for due diligence on new solar projects.
• Mentor performance engineers and collaborate on process improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related science field and 10+ years of energy industry experience.
• Must have expertise in utility-scale solar design, renewable energy consulting, or due diligence services.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and excellent written communication skills are essential.

Additional Expectations:

• Candidates must be willing to lead the use of modern tools, automation, and AI to improve engineering workflows.
• The role may involve overseeing automation scripts and guiding the application of agentic AI tools.
• Travel to project locations and client offices is required occasionally.
