Job Description
We’re looking for a skilled and creative Website Building Specialist to join our team to help build user-friendly custom websites for small, independent retailers in the flooring and home improvement space. Working on transforming older websites into stunning masterpieces that will bring our customers' brands to the next level. We need someone with expertise in developing custom WordPress themes and plugins, optimizing website performance, and ensuring a seamless user experience.
Responsibilities include building and customizing websites using WordPress, updating WordPress core, themes, and plugins, designing and building custom elements and plugins, collaborating with the design team, and identifying and fixing bugs and performance issues.
The ideal candidate will have experience with WordPress, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP, a strong understanding of responsive web design, and strong problem-solving skills.
