Corporate Counsel

In this role, you will be an important strategic advisor for the company and a key member of the legal team, partnering with leaders across the company to manage corporate governance matters, SEC compliance, and corporate practice of medicine, along with other healthcare regulatory matters. Responsibility includes establishing and maintaining a work environment focused on delivering high-quality customer service that fosters respect, positive communication, collaboration, and teamwork. You will be part of a collegial legal team with significant exposure to core elements of the business, operating as a trusted advisor to the company’s stakeholders. Significant opportunities exist to use your expertise in corporate governance, securities, and private and public company-related regulatory frameworks as you lead these critical matters for the company. Furthermore, you will play a key role in building a commercially-oriented culture within the legal team that collaborates with the broader organization to ensure Virta remains safe while growing, prepares for a potential future as a public company, and fulfills its mission.
