SME – Health Systems Analyst

In this role:

• You wil oversee clinical quality, patient safety alignment, and workflow validation across sites.
• You will coordinate with VA clinical leadership, service-line SMEs, and clinical informaticists.
• You will provide oversight and guidance to specialty support teams during surge operations.

Additionally:

• You will identify and mitigate clinical risk during go-live and stabilization periods.
• You will ensure adherence to clinical best practices and VA policy requirements.
• You will contribute clinical insight to readiness assessments, incident management, and lessons learned.

Qualifications:

• Nurse Practitioner (NP) with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Completion of an NP-focused graduate master’s or doctoral program with Active NP board certification.
• Internal Medicine Physician with an MD or DO from an accredited U.S. or Canadian institution with a Current, active, full, unrestricted physician license
