Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes supporting cloud-based data environments for the Department of Veterans Affairs.
Implement patient-matching and record-linkage logic across multiple identifiers to ensure accurate, deduplicated Veteran data across disparate source systems.
Harmonize datasets across VA facilities, resolving structural and format inconsistencies to produce analysis-ready data assets.
Administer, develop, and maintain IT systems supporting the acquisition, storage, management, and movement of VA program data across organizational boundaries.
Evaluate current IT environments and recommend scalable solutions, including web-based portal designs and operational system enhancements.
Design and enforce data governance policies to ensure data integrity, quality, and compliance with federal requirements.
Lead and develop a team of communications specialists, managing workload, setting priorities, and ensuring quality deliverables.
Serve as primary communications point of contact for client leadership, managing expectations, escalations, and competing requests.
Draft executive-level communications including talking points, summaries, and briefings for senior leaders, translating complex information into plain language.
Develops computerized models and queries, creating visualizations with Pyramid Analytics, Tableau, and Power BI to support program direction.
Ensures databases and dashboards align with VA systems, including the Federal Electronic Health Record, and builds automated data acquisition solutions.
Develops user guides, delivers training, and provides ongoing technical support and maintenance for data tools.
Develop and execute strategic communications initiatives for the VHA AI Education Hub, crafting press releases, social media campaigns, and media responses.
Serve as the primary point of contact for media inquiries, coordinating with VA leadership and subject matter experts to ensure compliant messaging.
Monitor and analyze communications performance metrics to provide data-driven recommendations for outreach improvement.
Serve as single contractor point of contact for VHA requests and contractor performance matters, overseeing full lifecycle of large-scale multi-project program focused on Veteran suicide prevention.
Lead end-to-end program management including planning, initiating, executing, monitoring, and closing projects aligned with task order scope, schedule, and budget.
Develop and maintain program management artifacts such as integrated master schedules, risk registers, and status reports to keep VA leadership informed.
