Job Description
Accountabilities:
- Lead, hire, and mentor a team of backend engineers focused on distributed systems and database internals
- Own execution and delivery of team roadmaps, timelines, and quality metrics
- Collaborate with product management and engineering leadership to define and prioritize technical initiatives
Requirements:
- 8+ years of engineering experience with at least 2 years in an engineering management role
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- Hands-on experience with large-scale distributed systems and database internals
Bonus:
- History of open-source contributions or committer experience on data-related projects
