Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver technical training across mechanical, electrical, and high-voltage systems, reinforcing safe work practices and diagnostic procedures.
- Lead shop-based exercises on troubleshooting and repair, and support field service activities as needed for complex issues.
- Document training activities and customer interactions to support continuous improvement and cross-functional alignment.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in a related Engineering field or equivalent technical experience, with 5+ years in the Commercial Vehicle Industry.
- Extensive knowledge of GILLIG buses mechanically and electrically, and ability to read engineering drawings and schematics.
- Strong communication skills, experience with telematics and computer software, and a Commercial Driver License or agreement to obtain one.
Work Environment:
- Requires ability to lift 50 lbs, prolonged sitting/standing, and use of personal protective equipment in shop or field environments.
- Involves 70-80% travel primarily within assigned regional territory across the United States, with a standard negotiable start time of 7:00am.
